Croom Cycles

Re-design and development with content management system and customised “Add Product” functionality

Based in Croom, Co Limerick, Croom Cycles stock an extensive range of bicycles, mowers and gardening equipment.

The client required a means of adding, editing and displaying products and pages, and of promoting special offers. The site was built with a customised “Add Product” feature, making it easy to add a product image, price, description and category.

New Communities Partnership

Re-design and development with content management system

New Communities Partnership is a network of ethnic minority organisations that work to lobby government and promote intercultural participation in Ireland.

They required an affordable content management solution that was easy to use, and a clean design. We will also be providing them with additional SEO marketing services to bring more traffic to the site.

Amawele

Re-design and development with content management system and blogging feature for registered users

Amawele is an organisation that links schools in Ireland and South Africa to promote a cultural exchange.

The client wanted the site to both promote the activities of the organisation and be part of the project itself. They required a facility for each school to be able to blog about their own experiences in linking with other schools.

The site was built for multiple user groups, each with different permissions. We crafted a unique, colourful design that fit with the school theme.

“Radar Maker put together a cost effective, manageable plan which Amawele asked them to implement. They were efficient and met the timescales laid out as well as coming in on budget. Training in the use of the content management system was provided and a detailed website editor’s guide was created so that Amawele staff can manage content locally.” - Billy O’Keefe, CEO of Amawele

McGrath Refrigeration

McGrath Refrigeration is a leading Irish distribution company supplying refrigeration equipment to the hotel and catering sectors.

The client required an online visual brochure of available stock, with images and size listings, which would serve an informed cliental looking to find specific products.

Without the need for lengthy product descriptions, we were able to keep it simple and incorporate an easy visual navigation using stock imagery.

Villa Simha

Design and development with online booking management system.

Villa Simha is a luxury family rental property situated in the South of France.

The client required a full brochure site, including a gallery and ‘virtual tour’ to showcase the exceptional quality of the property, and an online booking system allowing them to rent the villa directly.

We incorporated Globekey’s well-established booking system with it’s easy to use calendar front-end and full rental management system.

Given the exclusive nature of the villa, however, the client has since dropped the online booking system in favour of property agents. The website now serves as a property showcase.

Cairde

Re-design and development with content management system.

Cairde is an organisation working to tackle health inequalities among ethnic minorities living in Ireland.

They wanted a clean, easy to use site for their organisation, with a full content management system so that they could edit the content themselves and upload submissions and reports.

In order to simplify navigation of the website, we divided the key links into two columns of buttons on either side of the content area.

Healthfacts

Design and development with content management system.

Healthfacts is a health information site for ethnic minorities that was launched by Cairde, as part of their new Health Information and Advocacy centre. The centre provides health information to ethnic minorities living in Ireland and assists them in accessing a full range of health services.

They wanted a bright and visual site that was easy for people with little computer experience to navigate through and find specific information.

We kept the site very simple, with a clear visual style and six extra large menu buttons to facilitate easy access.

SICCDA

Re-design and development with content management system

The South Inner City Community Development Association (SICCDA) is a long established community organisation based in the Liberties of Dublin. They offer a comprehensive range of programmes, from child and youth development to skills training, citizen’s advice, and support for the elderly.

For their main website, the client required an easy to use content management system with automated newsletter and gallery. We gave the site a clean, formal look, incorporating a Flash animation on the home page.

“Aubrey Robinson and his company Radar Maker was employed by us in 2007 to design our website and to carry out local research in formulating a holistic health strategy to be implement in Dublin’s Liberties and transnationaly electronically.

We found him to be technically very efficient and well capable of designing and developing an effective online strategy. He completed his work with us ahead of schedule. Given his world wide experience and his work with socially excluded children and teenagers in South Africa, I believe that he has an excellent analysis of and strong commitment to developmental issues and work, both at home and abroad.

His energy and drive were very much in evidence whilst working for us. I highly recommend him”. - Fr. Michael Mernagh, SICCDA
